In 2012, OneVoice Palestine’s successful "Want Your Rights? Play Your Role!" campaign around Palestine’s status upgrade at the United Nations – and their highly visible and creative "Palestine at the United Nations" logo – gave them tremendous momentum into 2013.

2013 Vision:
OVP is emphasizing non-violent resistance, countering settlements, and building the Palestinian state based on the 1967 lines. OVP recognizes the role of the individual and the reality that both parties of the conflict are not equal, but share equal responsibility of changing the status quo by ending the occupation and giving back Palestinians their rights. OVP is carrying out widespread street campaigns, holding educational and political events, and working with the grassroots and political elites. OVP’s goal is to reach 1,000 new young Palestinians and train a majority as OVP youth leaders.
How does the Youth Leadership Program work in OVP?
OVP has five areas of focus this year in the YLP: Introductory sessions, Basic Leadership Training, Advanced Leadership Training, Senior Advanced Leadership Training, and Youth-led Initiatives and Campaigns.
The chapters stage two introductory sessions per month to benefit the communities and spread the message of the two-state solution. For those interested in joining the thousands of youths already trained as OVP activists, each chapter, led by experienced youth leaders, holds basic leadership training courses once per month on the history of the conflict and OneVoice, as well as building and working within a team and on grassroots initiatives.
The Advanced Leadership training courses are organized by senior youth leaders and professional trainers on a monthly basis and focus on campaigns and socio-political and community initiatives; building partnerships and public relations (field communication skills); organizational structure, discipline, and leadership commitment, and debating principles.
Each regional office is responsible for organizing and conducting the introductory sessions, the advanced leadership trainings, and basic trainings in affiliated cities. All youth leader groups run one initiative per month, and a select few link to the broader campaigns of OVP as a whole.
Senior Advanced Leadership training is for the most advanced youth leaders, trained to be ambassadors locally and/or internationally through the IEP.

OVP holds three to six major public meetings a year, headlined by high-profile speakers from the political, religious, and economic communities. The purpose these meeting are to connect ordinary citizens with decision makers.
